Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Fawkes & Reece South is seeking a skilled Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support their commercial team on a prestigious £70 million project. The successful candidate will assist in optimising profitability and cash flow, and be involved in various aspects of surveying, including subcontractor selection, account management, and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to the site commercial team.
- Assist in managing project risks and opportunities.
- Prepare costs estimates and financial reports.
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management or comparable qualification.
- Ability to utilise past knowledge and experience to minimise risks and maximise opportunities.
- Basic ability to read construction and pre-construction programmes.
- Sufficient commercial acumen to make considered decisions.
- Familiar with and ability to use all MS office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel.
