About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Business Partner to join our team at Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our HR team, you will play a vital role in supporting our service areas in delivering the Trust's objectives and People Strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop effective working relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leaders and service area managers.
  • Provide senior HR expertise on a range of HR issues, including employee relations, recruitment and retention, attendance, change management, workforce planning, talent management, and terms and conditions of employment.
  • Contribute to the development of workforce strategies for our Planned Care Division, ensuring alignment with Trust-wide workforce plans.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to HR sub-teams, focusing on empowerment and engagement.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to drive business outcomes and improve organizational performance.

Requirements

  • Substantial HR expertise at a senior level within a large, complex organization in a highly unionized environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish credibility at all levels.
  • Proven experience in HR leadership, with a focus on empowerment and engagement.
  • Ability to think creatively and develop innovative HR solutions.
