Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Merchandising Planning Specialist to join our team at iD Mobile Limited. As a key member of our merchandising team, you will be responsible for maximizing the growth opportunity of new product development and ensuring that our company is at the forefront of innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Senior Merchandiser to drive the performance of key categories, set and agree category strategies and range plans, and monitor commercial performance to ensure retained profit is in line with expectations and budget.
  • Ensure sales, margin, stock, and availability are on track to plan and highlight areas for improvement to the category squad.
  • Monitor promotions and events performance against plan for all key KPIs.
  • Monitor SKU sourcing and challenge where necessary to ensure effective rate of sale and ROI.
  • Update weekly from squad consensus on 8-week outlook on sales, margin, and stock, ensuring the central planning team can roll up the latest view and highlight any concerns or changes to current plan and budget.
  • Drive supplier strategies and optimize performance/supply and stock holding.
  • Ensure teams are ordering and building OEM containers in the most efficient way, challenging MOQs and avoiding excess stock.

Requirements:

  • Strong numerical and analytical skills to review data and provide recommendations/actions/plans to drive sales, profit, and cash.
  • Excellent commercial awareness and appreciation of customer needs.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to use data and evaluations to recommend commercial decisions.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills to ensure the business has the right stock and availability.
