Position Overview

The Operations Coordinator plays a pivotal role in shaping the merchandise assortment strategy for designated categories, aiming to achieve or surpass financial objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive merchandise assortment strategy tailored to meet financial goals.
  • Participate in open-to-buy (OTB) discussions with the Planning team to align on sales, profitability, and inventory turnover targets.
  • Conduct ongoing analysis of market trends utilizing social media insights and competitor evaluations to uncover growth and innovation prospects.
  • Formulate assortment strategies that effectively balance SKU range, depth versus breadth, product novelty, and pricing/margin goals.
  • Evaluate in-season and post-season sales data to assess product performance, guiding strategic adjustments and future assortment planning.
  • Determine initial garment specifications, including color palettes, trims, and fabrics, ensuring adherence to style and quality benchmarks.
  • Track weekly sales metrics to identify potential reorder opportunities and propose markdown strategies for underperforming items.
Qualifications
  • A proven history of successful vendor negotiations, focusing on product quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery.
  • Expertise in Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Workspace for effective data analysis and presentation.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Fashion, Production, Design, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages is advantageous.
  • Exceptional prioritization, project management, organizational skills, and a strong attention to detail.
