Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Retail Store Manager to join our team and lead our Arbroath store to success. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for managing your own store, driving sales growth, and delivering exceptional customer service. You will inspire your team, create a positive work environment, and ensure that our customers receive the best possible service.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Leadership and Management
  • Lead and motivate a team of sales assistants to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive sales growth and improve customer engagement.
Customer Service
  • Ensure that all customers receive a warm and welcoming experience in-store.
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues promptly and professionally.
Store Operations
  • Manage store inventory, stock levels, and merchandise displays to ensure a visually appealing and well-stocked store.
  • Maintain a clean and safe store environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
Performance Management
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to drive growth.
  • Set and achieve sales targets, ensuring that the store meets or exceeds its sales goals.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. Experience in a retail management role, with a minimum of 2 years of hands-on management experience in managing a team of at least 10 people.
  2. Flexibility – due to the nature of working within a busy retail environment, we need you to have the ability to work a flexible shift pattern across 7 days a week.
  3. Passion for Retail and a proven track record of delivering high standards and great results.
  4. Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment – you will need to be able to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
