Overview

This role focuses on driving sales within the vascular division by providing hands-on clinical support and education to physicians. As a key member of the Vascular team, you will serve as the clinical expert, ensuring successful product implementation and maximizing customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of our vascular portfolio and related medical devices.
  • Provide exceptional service to both clinical and non-clinical customers. This includes active participation in Cath Labs/Radiology departments, assisting staff with successful outcomes using our vascular devices, executing product rollouts, introducing new technologies, identifying opportunities within accounts, managing assets, and maximizing contract revenue.
  • Deliver technical product training to both clinical customers and internal teams on the use of Cook's medical devices.
  • Keep the Sales Manager, DPSM, and Account Specialist informed about developments and trends within the product portfolio.
  • Provide valuable market intelligence and feedback to division personnel in a timely manner.
  • Identify and evaluate new product ideas, providing relevant information to the Sales Manager, account manager, and facilitating ongoing communication.
  • Ensure that all new or updated product information is effectively disseminated to customers and the team.
  • Participate in relevant local and international exhibitions, meetings, and lectures, forwarding key information to the divisional team.
  • Prepare written reports for the Sales Manager as needed.

  • Within your scope of responsibility, ensure all quality, regulatory, and product-specific requirements are met.
  • Conduct Cook business with integrity and in compliance with applicable standards, including company policies. Adhere to the Cook culture and comply with company guidelines and policies.

Collaboration

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and regional physicians.
  • Work effectively with other members of the sales team and Cook support functions to provide exceptional service to customers and patients.
  • Collaborate closely with the Account Specialist to achieve or exceed account or area objectives and targets set by management.

Qualifications

  • Relevant experience in clinical support is desirable.
  • Knowledge of relevant clinical procedures is beneficial.
  • Ability to interpret clinical data effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • High level of self-motivation and a strong work ethic.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong written and verbal command of English and other relevant languages.
  • Proven problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Exceptional networking skills.
  • Strong numerical skills.
  • Availability and willingness to travel extensively for business purposes. Average weekly travel is 3 to 4 overnights per week.
