Overview
This role focuses on driving sales within the Vascular portfolio by providing hands-on clinical support and education to medical professionals. As the clinical expert within the Vascular team, you will be instrumental in ensuring successful outcomes for patients using Cook's innovative vascular devices.
Reporting Structure
You will report directly to the Division Regional Business Manager.
Responsibilities
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of our product portfolio and related medical devices within the vascular field.
- Provide exceptional service to clinical customers, including case planning, in-operating room support, and post-procedure follow-up. Execute product rollouts, introduce new technologies, and identify growth opportunities within accounts.
- Deliver technical product training to both clinical customers and internal teams on the proper use of Cook's medical devices.
- Keep the Regional Business Manager, Commercial Business Manager, and Account Specialists informed about developments and trends within our product portfolio.
- Provide valuable market intelligence and feedback to the division personnel in a timely manner.
- Identify and evaluate new product ideas, effectively communicating them to the Sales Manager, account manager, and facilitating ongoing communication.
- Ensure that all new or updated product information is disseminated and understood by customers and the internal team.
- Participate in relevant local and international exhibitions, meetings, and lectures, sharing key insights with the divisional team.
- Prepare written reports for the Regional Business Manager as needed.
Securing Employee Development and Organizational Culture
- Uphold our company culture, values, and commitment to Ethics and Compliance by demonstrating and enforcing appropriate and compliant behavior.
- Within your scope of responsibility, ensure all quality, regulatory, and product-specific requirements are met.
- Conduct Cook business with integrity and in compliance with applicable standards, including company policies. Maintain the Cook culture and adhere to company guidelines and policies.
Collaboration
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and regional physicians.
- Work effectively with other members of the sales team and Cook support functions to deliver exceptional service to customers and patients.
- Collaborate closely with the Account Specialist to achieve or exceed account or area objectives and targets set by management.
Qualifications
- Relevant experience in clinical support is desirable. Knowledge of relevant clinical procedures is beneficial. Ability to interpret clinical data effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential. High level of self-motivation, strong problem-solving abilities, and excellent organizational skills are required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Fluency in English and other relevant languages is advantageous. Proven networking skills and strong numerical skills are also important.
- Possess a valid driver's license and be willing to travel extensively for business purposes. Average weekly travel is typically 3-4 overnight trips per week.
