Job Title: Senior Risk Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Risk Manager to join our successful Risk team in Manchester. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing and supporting the implementation of integrated risk management across major capital programmes and projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead risk commissions, including the management of teams
  • Facilitate and work with stakeholders to identify, assess, and prioritize threats, opportunities, and issues
  • Maintain visibility of threat/opportunity trigger points to facilitate risk cost profiling and timely drawdown of risk budget
  • Monitor overall risk exposure and assess against the remaining risk budget and timeline
  • Proactively manage the completion of management responses
  • Work with the supply chain to assess contractor responsibility risks and their views on client risks that could impact their ability to deliver
  • Produce and present fit-for-purpose risk reports to support the effective communication of threat and opportunity status and required senior management action
  • Conduct quantitative risk assessments to inform project contingency and time risk allowance levels
Requirements:
  • A strong knowledge of quantitative schedule risk assessments and quantitative cost risk assessments
  • Experience of senior management engagement on risk management
  • A working understanding of developing and implementing integrated risk management solutions across portfolios, programmes, and projects
  • Risk and scenario analysis workshop facilitation
  • Strong understanding of project controls methodology and risk management interactions
