Overview of the Role:
You will collaborate with various departments to ensure the effective execution of SMCR processes and controls, promoting compliance and ongoing enhancement, while managing a diverse group of stakeholders and working in partnership with all internal functions across the organization. Additionally, you will maintain external partnerships, such as with Disclosure Services, Reed, the FCA, and PRA.
In this position, you will assist the SMCR Managers, engaging in a variety of daily tasks as well as projects, both independently and as part of a team. Your responsibilities will include preparing documentation for submission to regulators concerning senior manager applications and generating reports for senior management and regulatory bodies. You will also mentor junior team members in their tasks, which includes drafting regulatory application forms and ensuring the completion of senior manager regulatory transitions and training plans. You will be required to navigate several internal and external systems, including the regulators' application platform and Financial Services Register. Given the often sensitive nature of these applications and senior appointments, the highest level of integrity and confidentiality is essential.

- Strong communicator, both verbally and in writing; exceptional report writing, interpretation, and presentation skills; capable of conveying complex issues in a clear and persuasive manner.

- Understanding of the Financial Services regulatory landscape.
- Proven track record of building stakeholder relationships and effective teamwork.
