Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Graduate Geophysicist to join our team at The Curve Group. As a Geophysicist, you will be responsible for active involvement at every stage of a project from initial planning, site works through to reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing projects based on customer requirements, assessing and agreeing effective techniques prior to site work, with an emphasis on quality, customer service as well as budget and program requirements.
- Collecting good quality data showing reliable repeatability and accuracy, using a wide range of techniques to include electromagnetics, magnetics, radio frequency location, GPR, seismics, ERI and utility services detection.
- Managing data quality in line with our client's QC procedures.
- Using specialist geophysical software and drawing packages to QC, process, analyse and interpret data.
- Undertaking all phases of reporting from factual through to interpretation and recommendations, with a focus on customer requirements and quality being a key consideration.
- Identifying new ways of working, whether offering a technical enhancement or to help improve efficiency on site and in the office.
