In light of our ongoing expansion, we are seeking a client-oriented IT Solutions Specialist to become part of our team.

As an IT Solutions Specialist at Get Support IT Services, you will be instrumental in implementing, configuring, and optimizing technology solutions for our clients. On a daily basis, you will collaborate closely with our clients to guarantee the seamless functioning of their IT systems, ensuring that operational Key Performance Indicators are achieved and contractual obligations are met. This position necessitates a blend of technical proficiency, project management capabilities, and strong communication skills.

Job Summary

In the role of IT Solutions Specialist at Get Support IT Services, you will be vital in deploying, configuring, and enhancing technology solutions for our clients. You will work in partnership with clients to ensure the efficient operation of their IT systems, meeting operational Key Performance Indicators and fulfilling contractual commitments. This role requires a combination of technical knowledge, project management skills, and effective communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead projects to successful delivery.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients throughout all project phases.
  • Provide efficient and effective customer service to end-users and stakeholders.
  • Prioritize and manage your workload to meet client Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors for software installation, configuration, and deployment.
  • Plan and oversee the deployment and implementation of hardware and software.
  • Configure and set up new user hardware and software.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Document and update records related to supported networks and devices.

Required Skills:

To excel in this position, you should possess proven experience in an IT support environment, preferably within a Managed Service Provider (MSP), including deployment, configuration, and migration of technologies, as well as administration and support. You should demonstrate strong customer service skills, be organized, and possess excellent communication, problem-solving, and IT skills, along with:

Technical Proficiency:

  • Expertise in Microsoft 365 with hands-on experience in Azure Entra ID, Intune, and Exchange management.
  • In-depth knowledge of Windows Server (2012/2016/2019/2022), including Active Directory and other server roles and features.
  • Advanced experience with Windows 10.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 licensing and administration.
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies such as Hyper-V.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Project Management

  • Customer Service and Communication:
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey technical information clearly and concisely.
    • Ability to provide training and support to clients and team members.

Experience Required:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment or a similar role.

Additional Desirable Qualities:

  • Project Experience:
    • Previous experience managing technical projects.
    • Hands-on experience with the deployment, configuration, and management of technical solutions.
  • Certifications:
    • Industry-recognized certifications.
  • Other:
    • A full UK driving license would be beneficial.

Location: Office-based with site visits as required.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 am to 6 pm.

Salary: Dependent on experience.
