Senior Biostatistician II

Key Responsibilities- Lead complex projects, coordinating with cross-functional teams and interacting with clients and regulatory agencies.
- Mentor junior team members in advanced statistical methodologies.
- Oversee statistical aspects of clinical trial design and analysis, including project management, statistical analysis, and report preparation.
- Represent the department in client-facing roles, contributing to study proposals and bids, and participating in bid defenses.
- Organize teams and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency on complex studies.
- Ensure compliance with departmental SOPs and contribute to process improvements.
- Work independently as a project lead or lead statistician, providing senior review on projects.
- Lead team members across multiple complex projects, interacting with sponsors and presenting to regulatory agencies as needed.
- Review sample size calculations, protocols, and statistical analysis for completeness and accuracy.
- Develop and review analysis plans, guiding team members in their implementation.
- Define statistical analysis methods and procedures, reviewing key efficacy endpoints.
- Oversee database development, ensuring completeness and accuracy for programming.
- Supervise creation of table and listing specifications.
- Prepare reports, manuscripts, and other documents, contributing to Integrated Clinical and Statistical Reports.
- Monitor project budget, communicating proactively with management on scope changes.
- Mentor department members, providing project guidance and statistical advice.
- Represent the department in interdivisional activities, assisting with bidding and business development.
- 4+ years of experience in biostatistics or a related field.
- Master's degree in statistics, biostatistics, mathematics, or a related field.
- Comprehensive SAS programming skills.
- Strong project management skills, with experience managing multiple projects.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Substantial organizational, time management, and planning skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.
