About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our team at AKT II. As a key member of our design-led company, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality structural engineering solutions on major and complex projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and delivery of structural engineering projects across various sectors, including commercial, health, and retail.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated solutions and meet project deadlines.
  • Develop and implement structural design solutions, including preparation of detailed design calculations and specifications.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior team members.
  • Contribute to the development of the team and the company's technical agenda.
Requirements
  • Chartered Engineer (IStructE or ICE) with a degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
  • Proven experience in structural engineering, with a strong analytical knowledge and understanding of engineering principles.
  • Ability to design and deliver structural solutions on major and complex projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Computer literate with a good knowledge of design and analysis programmes.
