Key Responsibilities
  • Lead complex projects and projects involving multiple protocols, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members in the application of advanced statistical methodologies.
  • Provide senior-level oversight of statistical aspects in clinical trial design and analysis, including project management, statistical analysis, and report preparation.
  • Represent the department to clients on study design matters, contributing to study proposals and bids, and representing the department at bid defenses.
  • Organize teams and implement strategies to ensure process and programming efficiencies on complex studies.
A Day in the Life
  • Ensure compliance with departmental SOPs and contribute to process improvements as needed.
  • Work independently as a project lead or lead statistician to deliver on lead tasks and responsibilities across challenging projects.
  • Lead team members across multiple complex projects, interacting with sponsors and regulatory agencies as needed.
  • Review sample size calculations and protocols for completeness and appropriateness.
  • Write and review analysis plans, guiding team members in their implementation.
  • Define methods and procedures for statistical analysis and review statistical analysis for key efficacy endpoints.
  • Supervise the creation of table and listing specifications, preparing reports, manuscripts, and other documents.
  • Monitor project budget and communicate proactively with management concerning potential changes in work scope.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in statistics, biostatistics, mathematics, or a related field.
  • Comprehensive SAS programming skills, including proficiency in BASE, STAT, MACRO, and GRAPH.
  • Strong project management skills, with experience managing multiple projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including proficiency in the English language.
  • Substantial organizational, time management, and planning skills to create and follow timelines.
