About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to join our fast-paced and dynamic Approved Mental Health Service (AMHP) team. As a Senior Mental Health Professional, you will be passionate about delivering high-quality services to vulnerable individuals, working in a pressurized environment and managing complex workloads.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert advice and guidance on complex mental health cases
- Work collaboratively with statutory and non-statutory agencies to ensure a joined-up approach
- Manage complex workloads and support colleagues with challenging cases
- Develop strong relationships with partner agencies and the local community to provide a supportive framework for vulnerable individuals
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Significant experience in mental health, with a strong understanding of the Mental Health Act and current legislation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and external agencies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex workloads and prioritize tasks effectively
- A comprehensive understanding of the financial implications of commissioned care packages
