About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled AV Support Specialist to join our team at SCC. As an AV Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for our audio-visual equipment at our Warton and Samlesbury sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the existing conference, service, and installation teams on site
  • Set up, derig, and operate audio-visual equipment for on- and off-site meetings
  • Conduct meeting room checks to ensure all equipment functions correctly
  • Deliver a high-quality service experience to users and customers
  • Fault find and resolve AV/VC problems
  • Report and maintain conference equipment
  • Work in a team with the current on-site conference technician
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience of setting up AV equipment for on-site meetings
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot both hardware and software issues, identifying and resolving technical problems efficiently
  • Ability to gain security clearance
  • Must live within the Preston/Blackpool area to ensure prompt arrival and support for on-site clients
  • Requirement to work out of hours if required
  • Experience in providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive and professional experience for customers
