Role Overview:

The AV Onsite Support Engineer will provide additional support at Warton and Samlesbury Sites, working alongside the existing AV Team. This role will involve troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, setting up and operating audio-visual equipment, and delivering a high-quality service experience to users and customers.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience of setting up AV equipment, proven ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and ability to gain security clearance. They must live within the Preston/Blackpool area to ensure prompt arrival and support for on-site clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the existing conference, service, and installation teams on site
  • Setting up, derig, and operation of audio-visual equipment for on- and off-site meetings
  • Conducting meeting room checks to ensure all equipment functions correctly
  • Delivering a high-quality service experience to users and customers
  • Fault finding and resolution of AV/VC problems
  • Reporting and maintaining conference equipment
  • Working in a team with the current on-site conference technician
Skills and Experience:
  • Demonstrated experience of setting up AV equipment for on-site meetings
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot both hardware and software issues, identifying and resolving technical problems efficiently
  • Ability to gain security clearance
  • Must live within the Preston/Blackpool area to ensure prompt arrival and support for on-site clients
  • Requirement to work out of hours if required
  • Experience in providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive and professional experience for customers
