Position Summary:

In the role of E-commerce Website Supervisor, you will take charge of the online retail operations in the UK and various European markets (including France, Germany, Netherlands, Spain, Italy, and Ireland). You will work closely with diverse teams to ensure that the online stores provide a superior shopping experience while driving sales and brand development across multiple regions. Reporting to senior management, your contributions will be crucial in defining the online strategy and success in these vital markets.

Key Duties:

  • Lead the growth and development of Shopify-based online stores throughout the UK and Europe.
  • Oversee and optimize digital advertising campaigns, collaborating with the Performance Marketing Executive to align with sales objectives and key performance indicators across all regions.
  • Partner with the marketing team to assess performance metrics from email, sales, and digital marketing channels, identifying trends and areas for enhancement.
  • Utilize statistical analysis to project sales and manage inventory, coordinating with the Supply Chain team to ensure product availability.
  • Create and manage website content using HTML/CSS, while liaising with a development team for advanced functionalities.
  • Direct the implementation and management of an AI-driven customer support chatbot, in collaboration with the Customer Support team.
  • Ensure consistency and quality of content across all online stores in their respective native languages, working with translation services.
  • Regularly report on key performance indicators by region, presenting strategies for improvement in areas such as revenue, conversion rates, and site traffic.
  • Conduct competitive analysis to uncover opportunities for driving traffic and boosting conversions.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Strong analytical capabilities with a proven track record of identifying successes or failures and implementing corrective measures.
  • Data-oriented mindset for decision-making, with a comprehensive understanding of customer behavior in the UK and EU.
  • Proficient in HTML and CSS, with additional knowledge of Liquid being advantageous.
  • Experience in managing web development projects is preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with digital marketing tools such as Google Ads, Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, and email marketing platforms.
  • Familiarity with statistical methods for sales forecasting and inventory management.
  • Bachelor's degree (2:1 or higher) in Marketing, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Fluency in at least one European language (French, Spanish, Dutch, German, or Italian preferred).
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in e-commerce, ideally with platforms like Magento or Shopify.
