About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to lead our team at the Blaina Wharf in Newport. As a General Manager, you will be responsible for the overall success of the pub, including sales, customer service, and team management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales and Revenue Growth: Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and revenue, focusing on food sales and customer experience.
  • Team Management: Lead and motivate a high-performing team, providing coaching, training, and development opportunities to ensure excellent customer service and sales performance.
  • Customer Experience: Ensure that every customer has an exceptional experience, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and delivering high-quality food and drink.
  • Operations and Logistics: Manage the day-to-day operations of the pub, including inventory management, stock control, and maintenance of the premises.
  • Financial Management: Oversee the financial performance of the pub, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
