We are seeking enthusiastic developers to join us on this transformative journey.

Role Overview:
In this position, you will work in an Agile environment to develop and maintain a new mobile and web application supported by a robust, highly available headless API back-end.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in the complete software development lifecycle for the XE Consumer App, web applications, and related services.
  • Guide and mentor junior developers through pair programming and code reviews, actively participating in coding chapters and workshops.
  • Utilize your expertise to lead technical design discussions and make informed decisions.
  • Commit to continuous learning of new skills and technologies.
  • Adhere to a fortnightly cadence, emphasizing value delivery and ongoing improvement.
  • Contribute your experience to enhance team decision-making processes.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, UX designers, and architects to identify optimal solutions.
  • Be part of a dynamic team that delights millions of customers, driving a 20% increase in revenue through our applications.

Candidate Profile:

Essential Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Senior Developer or in a comparable role.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in developing responsive web applications within an Agile framework, utilizing fully automated CI/CD pipelines.
  • Proficiency in developing web applications using C#.
  • Willingness to learn and share knowledge, with the ability to quickly adapt and gain a deep technical understanding of new applications and complex technologies.
  • Ability to produce clean, effective, and maintainable code; solid experience with TDD/unit testing.
  • Strong skills in data structures and algorithms.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Positive, can-do attitude; a dedicated team player focused on achieving Sprint goals, including occasional support with QA or collaboration with DevOps.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with .Net Core and developing distributed, scalable, resilient systems.
  • Familiarity with Microservice Architectures using .Net Core v3, REST, or GraphQL.
  • Background in Fintech or web/mobile agencies, with some exposure to Enterprise environments.
  • Experience deploying applications in AWS and utilizing native services like SQS, DynamoDB, Aurora, Kinesis, and Lambdas.
  • Knowledge of Event Source Architectures and Eventual Consistency models.
  • Awareness of Java, Python, NodeJS, and modern front-end JavaScript frameworks such as VueJs, React, or Angular.
  • Master's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Practical understanding of SOLID principles and Gang of Four design patterns.
