Our Agile Journey:
XE is transitioning to Agile methodologies, embracing the Scrum framework to enhance our software development practices. We are seeking enthusiastic developers to join us in this exciting phase.

Role Overview:
In this position, you will collaborate in an Agile environment to develop and manage a new mobile and web application, supported by a robust, highly available API backend.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in the complete software development lifecycle for the XE Consumer App and its supporting services.
  • Mentor junior developers through pair programming and code reviews, and actively participate in coding workshops.
  • Leverage your expertise to guide technical design discussions and decisions.
  • Commit to continuous learning of new technologies and skills.
  • Work in a fortnightly cycle, focusing on delivering value and fostering continuous improvement.
  • Contribute your insights to the team’s decision-making processes.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, UX designers, and architects to identify optimal solutions.
  • Be part of a dynamic team that aims to enhance customer satisfaction and drive revenue growth.

Qualifications:
Essential:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Developer or in a similar capacity.
  • Over 5 years of experience in developing responsive web applications within an Agile framework, utilizing automated CI/CD pipelines.
  • Proficiency in developing web applications using C#.
  • A strong desire to learn and share knowledge, with the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies.
  • Commitment to producing clean, maintainable code and practicing TDD/unit testing.
  • Solid understanding of data structures and algorithms.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • A proactive, team-oriented attitude focused on achieving sprint goals.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with .Net Core and best practices in developing distributed, scalable systems.
  • Familiarity with Microservice Architectures using .Net Core v3, REST, or GraphQL.
  • Background in Fintech or web/mobile agencies, with some exposure to enterprise environments.
  • Experience deploying applications in AWS and utilizing services like SQS, DynamoDB, and Lambdas.
  • Knowledge of Event Source Architectures and Eventual Consistency models.
  • Awareness of Java, Python, NodeJS, and modern front-end frameworks such as VueJs, React, or Angular.
  • A Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Practical understanding of SOLID principles and design patterns.
