Job Title: Software Developer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Software Developer to join our team at NEC Software Solutions. As a Software Developer, you will play a key role in the development of our software solutions, working on challenging projects with the UK Government.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and test software applications using Oracle Web-based applications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions
  • Work on full life cycle development of large applications using an Oracle database and toolset
  • Develop and maintain PL/SQL skills, with experience of writing design specifications, problem solving, and performance tuning
  • Experience with web design and use of Oracle Apex
  • Appreciation of application and data security
  • Relevant Computer Science or Technical Degree
  • Must be eligible for UK Security Clearance

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of software development experience
  • Strong understanding of Oracle and PL-SQL
  • Experience with Ruby-on-Rails and Java for some applications
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
