Engineering Planner

Role Overview

As the Engineering Planner, you will be responsible for orchestrating and scheduling activities aimed at minimizing plant downtime through effective maintenance strategies. Your role will focus on enhancing the efficiency of both weekday and weekend work schedules to maximize resource utilization.

Key Responsibilities

Your primary duties will include:

  • Operating on-site and reporting directly to the Site Services Manager.
  • Managing the engineering workload and resource allocation for both weekend and mid-week maintenance tasks.
  • Overseeing the integrity of data within the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) system.
  • Tracking compliance, workload metrics, and backlog information.
  • Ensuring the quality and accuracy of PPM data.
  • Facilitating continuous improvement of the PPM system through regular evaluations with key stakeholders and Maintenance Leads.
  • Generating engineering scorecards with a focus on maintenance costs.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Practical experience within an engineering context (preferred).
  • Previous planning experience (preferred).
