About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Visitor Operations Manager to join our team at The National Trust. As a key member of our Property Leadership Team, you will play a critical role in the day-to-day management of our site, as well as contributing to the development of ideas to refresh our current visitor offer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead on operational delivery, ensuring the smooth running of our site and providing excellent customer service.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance the visitor experience, working closely with Consultancy colleagues and the General Manager.
  • Manage budgets and deliver financial targets, while maintaining a strategic eye to the future.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to achieve our goals and objectives.
  • Coach and develop teams, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in managing visitor operations at a busy National Trust site.
  • Strong financial and conservation management skills.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and operational management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external partners.
  • Experience in developing audiences through programming and interpretation.
