About the Role

Cameron Kennedy is seeking a highly skilled Customer Onboarding Expert to join our Client Services team. As a senior member of the team, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth onboarding of retail and corporate customers, while also managing customer complaints and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and perform retail customer and corporate client onboarding, ensuring that all necessary due diligence is completed in accordance with our risk management framework.
  • Identify and implement AML and regulatory requirements to complete relevant Client Know Your Customer (KYC) checks on applications.
  • Deal with a wide range of client inquiries and complaints, providing timely and courteous responses.
  • Manage and record all customer complaints, liaising with relevant stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely responses.
  • Collate documents for external bodies, such as the Financial Ombudsman Service, as required.
  • Produce and deliver management information to reflect volumes, trends, and issues to senior management.
  • Assist and support the Deputy Head of Client Services in leading and developing KYC/AML related projects and training.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in customer onboarding within the financial services industry.
  • Strong understanding of KYC/AML within the UK financial services and regulatory environment.
  • Able to communicate clearly and precisely in both written and verbal contexts.
  • CISI qualifications.
Desirable
  • Educated to degree or equivalent standard.
