Job Description

**Job Title:** Asset Building Surveyor

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Building Surveyor to join our Infrastructure Engineering team at Frankham Consultancy Group.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough condition surveys and professional property inspections to deliver high-quality results.
  • Work collaboratively with the national operational property inspection team to achieve project goals.
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of construction types, materials, and mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Stay up-to-date with Safety, Health, Environmental, and Quality Systems to ensure compliance and best practices.
  • Utilize Atrium/Trimble software and SDE computer systems to efficiently manage projects and data.
  • Work effectively in outdoor environments, adapting to various weather conditions.
  • Be available to work weekends and night-time possessions as required.
  • Hold a full UK driving license.
Desirable Skills and Qualifications:
  • Hold or be working towards professional membership of RICS or CIOB.
  • Lead surveying teams on complex sites, developing and implementing effective strategies.
  • Have knowledge of the railway industry, including possession planning.
  • Understand structural mechanics and its applications.
  • Hold relevant certifications, such as PTS, DRA, Asbestos awareness, confined space awareness, and working at height.
  • Possess rail safety critical competence, including COSS, ES, SWL1/2.
  • Have experience working in a railway operating environment.
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and have excellent computer literacy.
  • Demonstrate a proven track record of delivering results and supporting team members.
  • Exhibit strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to lead teams effectively.
  • Embody an innovative and forward-thinking approach, embracing new technology and ideas.
  • Be a motivated and enthusiastic individual, driving results and motivating team members.
