Job Summary

RGH-Global Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Property Services team. As the Head of Property Services, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and management of our properties, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Property Services team, providing strategic direction and guidance to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of property management strategies, ensuring that they align with the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Manage and negotiate property agreements, including leases and management agreements, to ensure that they provide best value for the organization.
  • Identify and secure new properties to support the organization's growth and development.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with property partners, including local authorities, NHS, and CQC.
  • Monitor and manage the performance of Property Services against the organization's Operational Plan.
  • Ensure that buildings are compliant with health and safety regulations.

Requirements

  • Minimum of two years' experience in a senior management role, preferably in a care or housing organization.
  • Level 5 Chartered Institute of Housing qualification or equivalent.
  • Membership of CIH or equivalent professional body desirable.
  • Excellent knowledge of housing management and development, with the ability to put knowledge into practice in an operational context.
  • Experience in undertaking property audits and inspections.
  • Detailed knowledge of housing management systems.
  • Experience dealing with enforcement officials.
  • Experience in rent setting policy and process across a multi-site organization.
  • Experience of housing and property development, including an understanding of the requirements of people with learning disabilities and autism in relation to property design and configuration.
  • Experience of developing successful partnership agreements/leases with property partners.
  • Experience of working with local authorities/NHS/CQC in property development, and understanding of their requirements.
