Fire Alarm Service Engineer

Salary Range: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum

Role Overview:

The Fire Alarm Service Engineer will be responsible for conducting routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on fire detection systems at various client locations, ensuring compliance with current regulations and standards.

  • Perform regular testing and inspections, including alarm activations and functional checks.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for all tasks completed.
  • Respond to emergency situations and execute necessary repairs.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and foster strong client relationships.
  • Identify and report any faults or potential issues to relevant teams.
  • Stay informed about industry regulations and advancements in technology.
  • Comply with health and safety regulations and company policies consistently.

  • Experience in a similar role as a Fire Alarm Service Engineer.
  • Proficiency in maintaining and servicing fire detection systems.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards (e.g., BS 5839).
  • Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures.
  • Excellent communication and customer service capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
  • A valid UK driving licence.
  • Willingness to participate in an on-call rota.
