Position Overview:
Marsh McLennan is looking for talented individuals to join our Professional Standards team (Guy Carpenter). This position is pivotal in crafting and implementing Guy Carpenter's professional standards initiative, which guarantees exceptional client service while mitigating risks associated with the company's reinsurance brokerage and advisory offerings.
This role is designed as a hybrid opportunity, requiring three days of in-office work.

Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and manage the global Compliance and Professional Standards monitoring program while aiding its evolution.
- Collaborate with business leaders to gain insights into workflows within current and emerging brokerage, client service, and advisory sectors.
- Identify critical risk moments and devise straightforward and effective mitigation strategies to ensure consistently high levels of client service and risk reduction.
- Provide clear guidance through handbooks, checklists, and communications.
- Conduct training sessions on compliance, professional standards, and error prevention.
- Build a network of brokers and support colleagues to share best practices.
- Lead initiatives to address common findings from monitoring reviews and industry benchmarks.
- Generate concise monitoring reports that offer business leaders insights into evolving risks, processes, and behaviors.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree.
- Demonstrated success in implementing best practices, prioritizing tasks, directing activities, and ensuring accountability.
- Proven experience in developing policies, communications, and training related to corporate compliance.
- Experience in executing and overseeing both remote and onsite monitoring reviews.
- Strong relationship management skills with key business and operational stakeholders.
- Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply complex regulatory requirements to business practices.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of functioning as both a manager and a team member.
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least seven years of relevant experience.
- Background in the (re-)insurance sector.
- Experience in compliance monitoring or internal auditing within financial services.
- Familiarity with working in a global corporate environment.
