About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Assistant Chef to join our kitchen team at Maidstone Care Centre. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting the Head Chef in maintaining the highest standards of food quality, safety, and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Head Chef in the kitchen area, identifying workloads and organizing tasks accordingly.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the kitchen area and associated equipment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Be responsible for cost control procedures and cost effectiveness, preparing and reviewing menus in conjunction with the General Manager.
  • Understand the importance of providing appropriate diets and special dietary needs, performing other related duties as assigned by the General Manager.
