Job Opportunity: TPF Recruitment is seeking an experienced Senior Manager to join our team in Maidstone, Kent.

About the Role: As a Senior Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing a client portfolio of owner-managed companies in the Maidstone area. Your duties will include preparing statutory accounts and management accounts, assisting clients with Personal and Corporation Tax returns, reviewing the work of junior staff, and providing business advisory services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning and Reporting: Prepare and review financial statements, including statutory accounts and management accounts.
  • Tax Compliance: Assist clients with Personal and Corporation Tax returns and ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations.
  • Team Management: Review and oversee the work of junior staff, including bookkeepers and accountants.
  • Business Advisory: Provide guidance and advice to clients on business strategy and financial planning.
  • Client Onboarding: Welcome new clients and ensure a smooth transition to our services.
  • Systems and Technology: Utilize accounting software, including Iris, Sage 50, Xero, and QuickBooks, to manage client accounts and provide efficient services.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: ACA/ACCA or equivalent qualification, or by experience.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in an accountancy practice, with a strong background in financial planning and reporting.
  • Skills: Proficiency in accounting software, including Iris and cloud-based systems such as Xero and QuickBooks.
