Position Overview:

The role of Financial Planning Assistant is a full-time, permanent opportunity designed for individuals passionate about Financial Advice. This position operates on a 35-hour workweek, Monday through Friday.

The Financial Planning Team plays a crucial role in supporting Financial Advisers by managing mid-appointment tasks and drafting Suitability Reports. The Financial Planning Team also offers a solid foundation for obtaining an industry-recognized Financial Planning Diploma Qualification.

Key Responsibilities:

The Financial Planning Team assists Financial Advisers with intricate aspects of Financial Advice. Responsibilities include:

  • Formulating suitable advice and completing mid-appointment activities within our systems.
  • Creating Suitability Reports for presentation to clients by Financial Advisers.
  • Analyzing and interpreting investment research related to clients' portfolios.
  • Understanding tax calculations to aid clients in achieving their financial objectives.
  • Managing multiple cases simultaneously, requiring strong analytical skills.

Candidate Requirements:

We seek candidates who are:

  • Highly organized and capable of balancing priorities.

  • Detail-oriented, maintaining high standards of quality.

While prior experience in financial services is not mandatory for entry-level candidates, it is preferred. Ideal candidates will have either obtained or be pursuing their Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning.
