Business Continuity and Security Manager

As a key member of our dynamic team, you will play a crucial role in delivering an effective Business Continuity Management System for NHS England. Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and maintaining the Business Continuity leads network for regions and directorates
- Providing training and support to BC leads as required
- Supporting the development of Business Impact Analysis and Business Continuity Plans
- Exercising Business Continuity Plans to ensure readiness and effectiveness
- Managing the incident communications system to ensure timely and accurate information dissemination
- Coordinating internal incident management with the support of relevant Incident Management Teams
- Maintaining an overview of internal security and delivery to ensure seamless operations
Business Continuity
- Identify and mitigate business continuity risks to ensure the organization's resilience and continuity
- Develop and maintain the use of the staff alert system for business continuity incidents
- Ensure coordination between Business Continuity and Emergency Preparedness, Resilience and Response (EPRR) / Resilience Team functions
- Complete the annual Business Continuity assurance programme, including review and exercise of BCPs and annual management review
- Support the delivery of internal NHSE security management

- Business Continuity accredited qualification or membership to a professional body such as BCI
- Knowledge of business continuity and incident management methodologies
- Knowledge of methodologies and practices to measure and improve organisational resilience including risk management frameworks
- Demonstrable understanding of the statutory framework for civil contingencies and business continuity
