We are a leading construction company that specializes in the design and construction of commercial, retail, industrial, and leisure projects. As a Senior Construction Manager, you will be responsible for managing contracts and ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality.
Key Responsibilities- Manage contracts and ensure project completion
- Liaise with site managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients
- Travel throughout the UK with occasional overnight stays
- Manage commercial elements of the contract, including pricing, tracking variations, and project cost control
- Manage procurement of materials
- Be commercially aware and have experience leading and managing a team
- Have excellent communication skills and experience with concrete, cladding, and steel erection
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Sound construction knowledge and experience working with subcontractors
- Ability to form relationships with clients and be approachable
- Desirable criteria: HND/HNC in building studies, experienced in commercial and industrial sector
