Role Objective:

We are seeking a Finance Analyst to become an integral part of our team in either Dorsten (Germany) or Moerdijk (NL). This role will focus on evaluating financial data and generating management reports for both internal and external stakeholders, aiding in informed decision-making. The analysis will encompass various financial elements including inventory, costs, revenue, expenditures, cash flow, profitability, operational efficiency, and budget management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive reporting, analysis, and communication of financial and operational metrics to support strategic planning and decision-making while ensuring data integrity.
  • Oversee cost management and analysis, tracking and controlling expenses related to projects, including mobilization, demobilization, service materials, and other indirect project costs.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets, tax obligations, and financial forecasts.
  • Generate and disseminate business performance dashboard metrics, along with month-end and year-end financial reports.
  • Compile month-end management reports, including profit and loss statements and forecasts.
  • Review site-related costs and report any discrepancies to the internal controls team.
  • Ensure compliance with financial controls across relevant operational departments.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting efforts across multiple departments.

Candidate Profile:

  • Professional qualifications in accounting (ICAS, ACA, ACCA, CIMA) are advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Fluency or professional proficiency in German is required.
  • Experience in management reporting, including month-end profit and loss statements and forecasting.
  • Strong technical accounting background.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Excellent reporting skills and proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel.
