Role Overview:

We are seeking a Finance Analyst to enhance our team in either Dorsten (Germany) or Moerdijk (NL). This role entails scrutinizing financial data and generating management reports for both internal and external stakeholders. The analysis will cover aspects such as inventory, costs, revenue, expenditures, cash flow, profitability, operational performance, and budgeting. Responsibilities include cost accounting, budgeting, strategic business planning, and evaluating financial performance against key performance indicators (KPIs).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct financial reporting and analysis to support strategic planning and decision-making while ensuring data integrity.
  • Manage cost control and analysis, monitoring expenses related to projects, including mobilization, demobilization, service materials, and indirect costs.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets, tax assessments, and forecasts.
  • Generate and disseminate business performance metrics, including month-end and year-end reports.
  • Compile month-end management reports, including profit and loss statements and forecasts.
  • Review site-related costs and report any discrepancies to the internal controls team.
  • Ensure compliance with financial controls across relevant departments.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes for various departments.

Qualifications:

  • Professional qualifications in accounting (ICAS, ACA, ACCA, CIMA) are advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Fluency or professional proficiency in German is required.
  • Experience in management reporting, including month-end profit and loss statements and forecasting.
  • Strong technical accounting skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Proficient in reporting and experienced in using MS Office, particularly Excel.
