About the Role:

Caterpillar Financial Services Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineering Fellow to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering value to our customers through the design and development of products that meet their cost, performance, durability, and quality needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Convert customer requirements established by the Product Manager and Product team into product concepts and solutions establishing value targets for all major systems as well as project timing.
  • Through set-based development, select and develop the technologies that will be used in final production being ultimately responsible for the technical success of the products and ensuring that the product development project meets program dates, cost, and quality targets.
  • Play a significant role as a thought-leader in product strategy, actively participate in workforce planning, and work with customers to determine needs and resolve problems.
  • Understand the business and its impact on technology, customers' businesses and needs, dealing with a global marketplace both in terms of customers and in terms of sourcing suppliers, production, and talent.
  • Have a long-range focus on business strategy and planning for technology, product families, and entire major processes and services; planning for future resources and developing capabilities in terms of people, technology, and facilities.
