About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Estates Advisor to join our team at Sewell Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice on strategic estates matters to our clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of professionals in providing strategic estates advice to clients, including options appraisals, feasibility studies, and estates strategies.
  • Liaise with external clients and stakeholders to create new strategic estates opportunities for Sewell Group.
  • Appoint contractors and advisors to support delivery of projects.
  • Effectively lead internal and external multidisciplinary teams.
  • Represent Sewell Group at external meetings and events.
  • Manage commission workloads, deadlines, and commercial performance.
  • Line manage junior/graduate consultants.
Requirements
  • Hold a formal degree qualification or 5+ years relevant experience.
  • Experience in contributing to/delivering the preparation of estate strategies and Business Cases in accordance with the HM Treasury Green Book guidance.
  • Experience of working within public sector, health, social care, and/or education sectors.
  • Ability to lead a team in a busy working environment and work unsupervised at times.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to learn and work with new technology and software.
  • Good decision-making skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
  • Effective time management skills.
  • Awareness of the importance of confidentiality.
  • Thorough approach/high levels of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to implement new and improved ways of working.
