Job Title: Senior Consultant

Join our team at Sewell Group as a Senior Consultant, where you will play a key role in providing strategic estates advice to our clients across the UK.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Consultant to join our team. As a Senior Consultant, you will be responsible for leading a team providing advice to our customers and partners on strategic estates matters. This will include options appraisals, feasibility studies, estates strategies, and business case authoring.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team providing advice to our customers and partners on strategic estates matters.
  • Liaise with external clients and stakeholders to create new strategic estates opportunities for Sewell Group.
  • Appoint contractors and advisors to support delivery.
  • Take on commission management responsibilities, monitoring workloads, deadlines, and commercial performance.
  • Promote and present a professional and personal brand in all dealings.
  • Support the production of board reports and performance reports against the business plan KPIs.
  • Understand and mitigate risk to the business.
  • Support Sewell Group in the pursuit of new opportunities and business development.
  • Provide information to support the Associate Director with workload planning and forecasting.
  • Lead on strategic internal projects suited to your skills and expertise.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in contributing to/delivering the preparation of estate strategies and business cases in accordance with the HM Treasury Green Book guidance.
  • Resilience and credibility to engage with a wide range of local and regional stakeholders.
  • The ability to learn and work with new technology and software.
  • An excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • A full, valid UK driving licence and own transport.
  • Understanding of current national education and/or healthcare policy, strategic direction, objectives, and national programmes.
  • Experience working in or around healthcare service planning and/or service change programmes.
