Job Summary:
Rashmi Metaliks Limited is seeking a highly skilled Sales Manager to lead the expansion of our ductile iron (DI) pipes business in the United Kingdom. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, establishing strong relationships with clients, and executing effective sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities:- Market Development: Identify and develop new business opportunities for the sale of DI pipes across the United Kingdom.
- Client Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including water utility companies, construction contractors, and infrastructure project stakeholders.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and execute effective sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets for DI pipes and related products.
- Customer Support: Provide technical support and advice to customers to ensure the correct product is selected for their needs.
- Negotiation & Contracting: Lead negotiations with clients, ensuring profitable deals while maintaining competitive pricing.
- Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competition, and customer preferences to adapt sales strategies effectively.
- Reporting: Provide detailed sales forecasts, reports, and performance metrics to senior management regularly.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and technical teams to ensure alignment between customer needs and product offerings.
- 4+ years of experience in sales of DI pipes or related products such as GRP, HDPE, OPVC, or steel pipes.
- Proven track record in achieving sales targets and expanding market share in the UK or European markets.
- Strong understanding of the water infrastructure, construction, and piping industries.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations within the UK infrastructure sector.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related fields.
- Experience in managing large client accounts or public infrastructure projects.
- Prior exposure to working with government bodies or large utility companies is a plus.
