Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager to join our growing team in London. As a key member of our European expansion team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and establishing our brand presence across the EU region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Market Expansion: Lead efforts to identify and target new business opportunities in the EU market, focusing on building a strong client base and driving revenue growth.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including potential clients, partners, and industry influencers.
  • Sales Strategy: Collaborate with our Sydney-based Marketing and Sales teams to refine and execute the sales strategies for the EU market, ensuring alignment with global objectives.
  • Partnering with Professional Services: Collaborate closely with our Senior Manager to ensure seamless handover and alignment of customer projects, working together to nurture customer relationships and support long-term satisfaction and growth.
  • Autonomous Operation: Operate independently with a high degree of self-leadership, managing your own pipeline and sales activities while reporting progress to our CEO and senior management.
  • Client Management: Oversee the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction and long-term business partnerships.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments, using this knowledge to inform and adapt sales strategies.
Objectives of this Role
  • Establish Jomablue's presence in the EU market, achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Build a robust pipeline of qualified leads and convert them into long-term customers.
  • Develop tailored sales approaches to meet the unique needs of diverse EU markets.
  • Collaborate effectively with our global team to align sales efforts with company goals.
Requirements
  • Proven track record of success in business development, preferably in event technology or event management-related field.
  • Autonomous work style, with ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with ability to present and influence at all levels.
  • Marketing or events background, with ability to leverage existing professional networks to drive sales pipeline and build industry partnerships within the event marketing space.
  • CRM proficiency, with experience using Salesforce or similar CRM software to manage sales activities and track performance.
  • Language proficiency, with fluency in a second language (Spanish, French, or German) highly desirable.
