Role Summary

As a Business Development Associate at Marex Solutions, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for driving commercial growth and market expansion. You will report to the Head of Business Development and work closely with the BD graduate and BD intern to achieve quarterly and annual targets.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Formulating and executing sales, marketing, and product development strategies to drive business growth
  • Conducting market research to deepen industry knowledge and understanding of clients
  • Attracting new clients through outbound marketing and leveraging prospecting tools
  • Engaging, informing, and converting prospects to drive results
  • Producing content, campaigns, and sales materials to support business development efforts
  • Building and maintaining client databases to track performance and calculate ROI
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and adhering to the company's operational risk framework
Key Responsibilities

As a Business Development Associate, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and executing sales strategies to meet quarterly and annual targets
  • Conducting market research to identify new business opportunities and trends
  • Building and maintaining relationships with key clients and partners
  • Producing high-quality content and campaigns to support business development efforts
  • Tracking and measuring performance to calculate ROI and inform business decisions
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and adhering to the company's operational risk framework
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a relevant field
  • Proven work experience in Business Development and Marketing
  • Proven work experience in Financial Services in a B2B environment
  • Proven work experience with CRM tools (Salesforce, Hubspot)
  • Familiarity with social media platforms, SEO, and website metrics
  • Track record of producing compelling content for clients across multiple touchpoints
  • Experience working in a regulated environment and knowledge of the risk and compliance requirements associated with this
