About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Recovery Worker to join our team at Service Care Solutions. As a Recovery Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals struggling with substance misuse problems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver Continuity of Care: Work effectively with service users, care coordinators, and other stakeholders to provide comprehensive support and guidance.
  • Support Service Operations: Contribute to the day-to-day running of our services by delivering evidence-based interventions and supporting the development of service users.
  • Manage Caseload: Assess and manage a complex caseload of service users, providing structured brief interventions and psychosocial support as needed.
  • Risk Assessment and Management: Identify and mitigate risks to ensure a safe and supportive environment for all service users.
  • Substance Misuse Information and Advice: Develop and disseminate information on substance misuse, providing guidance and support to service users in groups and one-to-one settings.
  • Screening and Referral: Screen service users for substance use and make appropriate referrals to specialist agencies as needed.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience working in a substance misuse service
  • Experience managing a caseload of service users
  • Strong knowledge of substance misuse and recovery pathways
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
