We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Recovery Worker to join our team at Service Care Solutions - Healthcare. As a Recovery Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals struggling with substance misuse problems.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a complex caseload of service users, providing continuity of care through effective partnership working, care coordination, and delivery of interventions.
- Support the day-to-day operation of services by delivering evidence-based interventions and managing risk to ensure a safe environment for all.
- Assess service users, carrying out triage and comprehensive assessments as required, and making appropriate onward referrals to specialist agencies.
- Develop and disseminate substance misuse information, providing advice on health and social well-being in both group and one-to-one settings.
- Screen for substance use and blood-borne viruses, taking appropriate follow-up actions to prevent and control the spread of infection.
- Previous experience working for a substance misuse service, with a proven track record of managing a caseload.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders.
- Knowledge of substance misuse and recovery pathways, with a commitment to delivering high-quality care.
