About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Substance Misuse Nurse to join our team at Practice Plus Group. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of individualized treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify patient needs and develop personalized recovery plans.
  • Deliver a range of treatment options, including clinical and psychosocial interventions, in both group and one-to-one settings.
  • Monitor therapeutic responses to medication and potential side effects, and liaise with prescribers as necessary.
  • Provide advice and information to patients on a one-to-one basis, and support group work delivery.
  • Collaborate with Recovery Practitioners and prescribers to ensure seamless care delivery.
Requirements
  • Registered nurse with current NMC registration.
  • Evidence of Continued Professional Development (CPD).
  • RCGP 1 in Substance Misuse or willingness to undertake.
  • Experience of working with opiate-dependent patients.
  • Sound clinical substance misuse knowledge.
