The Opportunity

We are seeking a talented and motivated Junior Environmental Engineer/Scientist to join our team at Trace Associates Inc. As a key member of our environmental services group, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality projects and contributing to the company's mission to provide exceptional environmental solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct environmental site assessments, including Phase I and Phase II evaluations, to identify potential environmental hazards and develop strategies for mitigation.
  • Develop and implement environmental monitoring plans to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Collaborate with project teams to design and implement environmental remediation projects, including soil, groundwater, and surface water sampling and monitoring.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to clients and project teams on environmental issues and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct fieldwork, including soil and groundwater sampling, and data collection and analysis.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies to ensure effective communication and project delivery.
  • Participate in business development activities, including proposal development and client presentations.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in environmental science and engineering.

About You and Your Qualifications

  • You have a strong academic background in environmental science, engineering, or a related field, with a degree from a recognized institution.
  • You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, stakeholders, and project teams.
  • You are a team player with a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  • You have a strong understanding of environmental regulations, policies, and best practices, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical setting.
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and have experience with environmental software and tools.
