The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Professional to join our team at Trace Associates Inc. As a key member of our environmental services group, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality projects and contributing to the company's mission to create positive change.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct environmental site assessments, including Phase I and Phase II evaluations, to identify potential environmental hazards and develop strategies for mitigation.
  • Collect and analyze environmental data, including soil, groundwater, and surface water samples, to inform project decisions and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with project coordinators, managers, and clients to ensure effective communication and project delivery.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and detailed reports, including data interpretation and analysis, to support project outcomes.
  • Participate in fieldwork, including outdoor activities in various weather conditions, to collect data and conduct site assessments.
  • Conduct building condition assessments and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Travel periodically to project sites, using personal vehicle, with mileage reimbursement.

About You and Your Qualifications

  • You are passionate about environmental sustainability and committed to delivering high-quality work.
  • You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • You are a graduate of a recognized engineering or science program, eligible for P.Eng. or P.Geo., with knowledge of environmental site assessments and hydrogeological processes.
  • You have experience with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel, and are proficient in data analysis and interpretation.
