The Opportunity

We are seeking a talented and motivated Junior Environmental Engineer/Scientist to join our team at Trace Associates Inc. As a key member of our environmental services group, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality projects and contributing to the growth and success of our company.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct environmental site assessments, including Phase I and Phase II ESAs, to identify potential environmental hazards and develop strategies for mitigation.
  • Develop and implement remediation plans to address contaminated soil, groundwater, and surface water.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their environmental needs and develop customized solutions.
  • Conduct fieldwork, including soil and groundwater sampling, and data analysis to inform project decisions.
  • Prepare and present project reports, including data interpretation and recommendations for future action.
  • Work closely with project managers and other team members to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in environmental engineering and science.

About You and Your Qualifications

  • You have a strong academic background in environmental engineering or science, with a degree from a recognized institution.
  • You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and contractors.
  • You are a team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
  • You have a strong understanding of environmental regulations and policies, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical setting.
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
