We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Engineer/Scientist to join our team at Trace Associates Inc. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from soil and groundwater sampling to remediation monitoring and documentation.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct soil, groundwater, surface water, and sediment sampling and monitoring using various methods and instrumentation.
- Oversight and direction of contractors and subcontractors.
- Observation and logging of boreholes and the installation of monitoring wells.
- Remediation monitoring and documentation.
- Field equipment maintenance and inventory.
- Conducting Building Condition Assessments (BCAs) and Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs).
- Reporting to project coordinators, managers, and clients.
- Report writing and data interpretation and analysis.
- Periodic out-of-town travel using personal vehicle, with mileage reimbursement.
- Graduate of a recognized engineering or science program eligible for P.Eng.
- Knowledge of Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments.
- Understanding of hydrogeological processes and soil structures.
- Working knowledge of analytical chemistry.
- Experience with Microsoft Office – Word and Excel.
