Position Overview

We invite applications for our dynamic two-year clinical fellowship program designed for junior medical professionals. This rotation offers invaluable exposure to a variety of surgical disciplines, including General Surgery, Trauma and Orthopaedics, Plastic Surgery, and Urology.

This is an excellent opportunity for selected candidates to broaden their expertise across multiple surgical fields.

Program Structure

The fellowship consists of rotational placements, allowing fellows to gain hands-on experience in different specialties. The program includes:

  • Year 1: Engaging in diverse surgical rotations.
  • Year 2: Continued development through further specialized placements.

Clinical Responsibilities

As a Junior Clinical Fellow, you will:

  • Manage patient care throughout their hospital journey under supervision.
  • Participate in outpatient clinics.
  • Enhance practical surgical skills through direct involvement in procedures.

Qualifications and Training

Essential Requirements:

  • Current license to practice from the General Medical Council.
  • MBBS or equivalent medical qualification.
  • Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification or equivalent.

Fitness to Practice:

Evidence of engagement with appraisal and revalidation processes is essential for this role.
